Responsibility

My responsibility in jewelry making
I take responsibility for creating jewelry that is not only beautiful and unique, but also made with consideration for the environment and the future. Here are some of the ways I work sustainably:
Slow Fashion
Metals like silver and gold have a timeless quality. They are durable, yet malleable, and working with them requires precision, patience, and creativity. Each piece of jewelry tells its own story and is meant to last. The craftsmanship takes time – from carefully shaping and working the metal to creating something that can be worn and loved for generations to come.
Possibility of repair
My customers have the option to have their jewelry repaired by me, which extends its lifespan and reduces waste. I want each piece of jewelry to be able to last through generations.
Reuse of materials
Materials from old jewelry and other sources are given new life in my creations. This helps to save resources and reduces the dependence on newly mined materials.
Minimization and recycling of chemicals
I actively work to minimize the use of chemicals in my manufacturing. When chemicals are necessary, I ensure that they are handled responsibly and recycled as much as possible. In this way, I protect both the environment and myself.
Local suppliers
I prioritize collaborating with local suppliers of materials and tools. This strengthens the local community and reduces the climate impact of long-distance transport.
Through these efforts, I not only want to offer unique jewelry but also inspire a more conscious and sustainable lifestyle.
