This sandcast silver ring has a raw and natural design, where the surface retains the organic texture from the sandcasting process. Each ring made with this process is unique, with small irregularities and details that are reminiscent of nature's textures and structures.
Instead of attaching the stone separately, the metal is melted around the stone during the casting process, making it an integral part of the jewelry. This technique is called "Cast-not-set" or "Cast-in-place". This produces a unique and durable result with a natural, cohesive shape.
